Further information

St Augustine's Hall

Our main hall has a maximum capacity of 100, although this limit may need to be lowered depending on the

arrangement of seating and tables. The hall is at ground floor level for easy access, but has an external threshold for which wheelchair users may require assistance. There is a toilet suitable for wheelchair users, plus two additional standard toilets.

Per hour:

£15

including use of the kitchen

St Cuthman's Hall & St Dunstan's Hall

The two upstairs halls each have a maximum capacity of 50, although this limit will need to be lowered if everyone is seated. These halls are not suitable for use by people with difficulties in mobility. St Cuthman’s Hall has a sink available. Toilet facilites for the upper halls are the same as for St Augustine's Hall.

Per hour:

£10

Fenning Room

The Fenning Room is available for small meetings and can also be hired in conjunction with either St Cuthman’s Hall or St Dunstan’s Hall. This room is upstairs and not accessible to people with mobility difficulties.
Per hour: £5

Brodie Hall

Our oldest hall, situated at the front of the church, has a maximum capacity of 50, although this limit may need to be lowered if everyone is seated. Because of its age and listed building status this hall may not be suitable for use by wheelchair users, although there are no steps and people with limited mobility should find little difficulty. The Brodie Hall has a standard toilet, not accessible for wheelchair users.

Per hour:

£10

including use of the kitchen

Christ Church

The Church itself can be booked for rehearsals, recitals or performances and can seat an audience of approximately 120 people, with very comfortable chairs that can be rearranged to suit your needs. The acoustics are excellent for recitals, and there is an 1880 Father Willis organ and a baby grand piano. The Victorian interior has also been used as a film location. Call the Parish Administrator to discuss your requirements and the costs involved.

Regular bookings

We are very happy to consider regular bookings in any of the halls for times when they are available. Please ask for details and possible discounts. On very rare occasions it may be necessary to make adjustments to regular bookings if the church needs to use the hall on a one-off basis. In these circumstances hirers are offered an alternative date, or any booking fee paid is refunded.

Please note:   The length of your booking must be calculated from the time you arrive until the time you leave - setting-up and clearing-away must be included.

The car park at the front of the Church may be freely used by all Hall users, but strictly only during the time of your hire.
